I am keenly interested in Electric cars. specifically I was interested in details of the battery usage. Is there information somewhere that migh provide an estimated profile of "Jpoules" reqired under variouls driving conditions. For instance, I assume the drain would be quite high upon accelerating (for about 5 to 10 seconds) then the drain would drop off considerably when at cruising speed. I make this assumption from watching instant MPG calculations under the various conditions; i.e. startup, cruise, then stop, etc.
