Remmember, GM spent a billion dollars of YOUR money, (GM is broken ! Now is funded by US government in order to contain the unemployment. The only reason govern put very much money on GM). This car is NOT intendend to be a best seller, because GM is not want to mess with oil companies, NOT to mess with spare parte industry, and others. This car will cost like an F50, or a Rolls Royce... If you want a very good and a real electric car, wait for BMW,NISSAN and other companies that will relase realistic models in one or two years.

Hey people !! wake up !! This guizmoz is not only a lcd panels !!! have a entire computer back there !! This means that a lot of eletronics and amenities to drawn the power of batteries and lever up the price tag and justify the gas engine! Think! Put your brains to work. What you will prefer ? This guizmos, or a car that runs more mileage with electricity and a lower price ? Simpler instruments,fewer features means this factors !!!

Do the local dealers know people will be asking about the Volt? When will the volt 2 be out as the original will probably be too large for me?
